Depends what you want long term. Many firms won’t give you a serious look for partnership if you’re not also actively participating in “firm life”. If you just want to keep your head down and work and then go in house or something, what you’re doing is more than enough. If you’re trying for partnership, you probably should figure out how to work in committee work, mentorship, etc.
I don't really want to be partner, but I'm close enough that I don't want to close the door if I haven't found something else by then. I care about my family way more than my career, so I do what I have to and no more.
