Let experienced florist give recommendations. Not worth the headspace thinking about it IMHO.
1- confused on why this is hard to hold? What does your florist think?
2 - I would just get ‘em. They aren’t super expensive and can be extremely simple. I think the men definitely look “complete” with the boutineer. Never heard of this rule though and honestly don’t think anyone would notice or care if men had and women didn’t.
3 - we reused the bouquets to decorate our sweetheart table. You also could put them in short vases on cocktail tables if you’re having a cocktail hour or to decorate other areas of your reception hall
Not hard to hold. I had one long stem rose for each woman (MoH, bridesmaid, family) with a nice ribbon tied in a bow on each. Nice, beautiful, simple, and highly recommend. Dunno what the planner is talking about here.
Thanks! It helped to see examples on Pinterest to see how it all looked in a group. Good luck!
I just did little nosegays for everyone, maids and moms. Very cost effective.
I’m still thinking about how strange this first comment is from the planner- do they somehow benefit or get paid more if you buy more flowers?

I am wondering that , too. haven't selected the florest yet, may be skipping her recs on that.
What time of year is your wedding? Most commercially grown roses just don’t really present well head-on. I think a small bouquet is a pretty idea but would choose a more visually interesting flower.

June
1. No comment. I’d also recommend buying a little sample amount from a flower wholesaler to practice bouquet making or deciding what flowers you enjoy together (if you’re not relying on a professional florist)
2. No corsages in our wedding
3. Always recommend reusing
We are also using a flower display like this so guests can grab their bud vase, find their table and then fill out the table (will have candles and some vases already there)
Hopefully it goes well, it’s this upcoming weekend!
