What’s your airport pet peeve? Mine: people who sprint to the front of the boarding line for Zone 1 when we’re all going to the same place. What behavior makes you question humanity at the airport?

If you're in Zone 1 and sprint when zone 1 is called that doesn't bother me. It's the gate lice that provide zone 1 to get through because for some reason they feel the need to be in the way.

People that feel the need to stand directly in front of the luggage carousel. Stand back and wait until your bag comes out.

Also, the people that immediately have to stand up and grab their bag out of the overhead bin when the seatbelt light goes off. The door is still closed.

Families who take up half of the hallway and walk slow. I give them one “excuse me “ before pushing through them, now.

Hello folks, recently moved to industry from consulting. In my previous company, we had teams who formatted PowerPoint presentations. Suggestions welcome.

Lately, I've been hearing a lot from my peers about how sales isn't a real profession.
I work at a tech startup and it mostly comprises developers. They can't stop emphasizing their importance in the food chain and I can't figure if I'm too humble or they're too arrogant.
This yapping comes from people I've known since college. I have successfully blocked all such negativity but wanted to know if anyone here has faced such scenarios.
P.S: I've already accepted an offer above my expectations

I read this super interesting article about how big companies like Toyota are investing in social-emotional training for their employees and seeing massive benefits. I actually think this could be a whole separate class for students of all ages. Learning about conflict resolution, growing your own self-regulation skills...it's really important.

I have been recently selected in Virtusa and in the compensation there are components like Internet reimbursement, LTA, food reimbursement.
Could anybody please help me to understand will these components be paid out to me monthly or will be only provided if i submit the proofs for the particulars.
Also is the food reimbursement offered in the form of monthly Sodexo coupons?

I’m an application analyst in the midwest for a small CAH. I was hired into this position at $27.15/hr and have now worked here for a year. I’m curious how my salary compares with others working in the midwest. My primary responsibilities are systems/HIE integrations using Meditech, HL7 transfer, SQL report writing, and user administration (just to name a few).

I’m set to finish my Google data analytics certificate by the new year. What’s some good advice on getting a job, salary expectations, and further developing these skills?

I can see short term changes but the way Amex has been aggressively marketing Platinum card, we just will have overcrowding of primary card holders 🤷🏻‍♂️

What's next, everyone has to spend min. 50k a year to get Centurion lounge access or pay per visit.
