When I was searching for information on whether Indeed posts jobs on other sites like Glassdoor, I came across this. What do you think about job layoffs to make room for the future? Do you think AI is going to cost more jobs, or do you think companies do this to keep a competitive edge?

Fears of a recession are reasonably causing people to take a second look at their job security. I saw this and it's almost too on-the-nose. Even the sites that host the job listings and where people turn when they're laid off are now doing the laying off. And for AI job force reductions too! Nightmare scenario
It's not good seeing these things, but it's just the reality of business right now. I tend to be an AI skeptic, and I don't think it can do all the things upper management types think it can do. But the thing is, it can do a lot of things that are "good enough." It could disrupt the job market in a huge way because for a lot of businesses "good enough" is all they need.
