When is a good time to tell big law firm you are pregnant? Reviews are coming up and I'm not sure if it would be better or worse to say it beforehand?

Last year when Covid broke, I received a couple of interview calls but ignored them as I felt the organization kept me at work when other companies cut short their HR staff so I should be with them even if with no appraisal. But now, I was living in the fool's paradise when I am told to leave with no job offers in hand, car and home loan, dependent parents, expecting jobless spouse with a 3-year old kid.

Throwing this out there. My company was recently acquired and I was laid off yesterday. Is sending kids to private school worth it? Talking about 25k-30k per year. Living inside city where public school are average. Thinking of sending kid to international school with bilingual program (family speaks multiple languages)…. The money adds up a lot over a lifetime. Especially if we have more than 1 kid.

Should I disclose or hide the fact that I am on maternity leave? I have an interview with a big law firm in NY. I’m currently working for a law firm in Atlanta. I imagine I will be asked whether I have returned to the office or working remotely from NY. My husband and I have been living in New York since the pandemic to be near family. My current firm asked everyone to go back last week but since I am on leave I didn’t have to. I want to avoid lying without jeopardizing my chances.

Hardest part of navigating maternity leave and WLB as a junior partner?

I feel like we're affected more than anyone else (except maybe history teachers) by the censorship and critical theory debate. Dealing with books coming on and off the banned list and angry parent emails over curriculum I don't have control over was especially frustrating this year. What are your tips for avoiding the conflict and teaching the facts without getting dragged into a political debate?

Has anyone here used the "Read Scripture" app? It goes through the entire Bible and includes accompanying summary videos from "The Bible Project" (whose videos can also be found on YouTube).
