Hi Everyone I have joined FIS one month back only, I am just Okay with my current project. I see here everybody is leaving FIS and telling it's not good. I have changed Infosys within 7 months. Now, I don't want to switch this early. Can somebody tell me about the good points, pros in FIS. I really want to change my mindset so that I feel happy here and can give back something to organization.FIS Global

Depends on the reason.. you hate your job? Never too soon… you want more money? Probably 1-1.5 years but weigh that against any expected promos which usually happen at 2 years in consulting… pivot fields? Never too soon…. Don’t like the people at your job? debateable
Thank you!
What’s the reason you want to hop? New role or $$?

Job hoppers remain job hoppers for life and end up losing out on so much money in the long run.
Best to get a promotion in first.
If that doesn’t look like it’s in the cards at 1.5 years, start blasting applications.
Agree, jumping firms might set you back a little if you don’t time things right
Also newcomers tend to get bottom of the barrel assignments, so if you hop too frequently, the quality of work/experience might suffer
All general of course

I left after 7 months in my first role. I’d recommend just applying until you get an offer you like. If nothing is attractive, then stay where you are. But you’ll at least get an idea of market rate
If you really like the job and your manager, stay and try for a promotion at the year-1.5 mark. If they don’t give it to you, leave. If you are just eager to jump, start applying to jobs at like the 10 month mark so when you start landing interviews you will have almost a year under your belt, plus interviewing can take months so by the time you get something new you could be at or over a year which would not necessarily be a bad thing in terms of experience.
Just make sure your not chasing $$$, without considering other factors. I am 25, and don’t get me wrong I make good money but I found early in my career how toxic workplaces are just not worth it for a few extra dollars. You should strive for a life outside of work. Always prioritize that!!
Thank you!

A year or so
About a year or year and a half if you like the job. If you hate the job I’ve left twice now once at 8 months and another at 6
Always go for a promotion first

Probably around 2 years or so is ideal, in my personal opinion. But everyone is different
