Depends on how comfy you are at current salary. If things are tight, comp > new skills. Otherwise, look long term and broaden your skill set.
Comp >.... need money for down payment and mortgage payments
Depends on how much the comp changes relative to where I'm at
Experience/skill sets to be gained, Money will always come if and when you do a good job and expectations are clear. If it doesn't work out , you're more marketable.
Don't tell me you're looking to leave the beacon of light that is our beloved DB!? But otherwise, like the others have said, depends on situation. Don't necessarily chase higher comp, acquiring skills and experience will always pay off in the long run.
