When out in the road, is it the employer's responsibility to cover food and shelter money for their employees or not? What do you guys think?

Hello, as a company we believe that everything that happens to the employee on the road should be the responsibility of the company, therefore covering the expenses that the employee will have is only part of the process.

My boss takes care of handling food and shelter and I can assure you it makes the job SO much smoother. That should definitely be the standard.

Does anyone have a good way of managing customer profiles? Working in logistics I speak with a lot of different customers, carriers, warehouses, brokers, etc and I am looking for a way to organize the notes I have for each one that I can filter through. My company most likely won’t purchase new software but we do have basic Microsoft programs. TIA !

I'm glad people can order things online and get them the next day; but it makes my job harder because a lot of the people in my company don't see that we just don't have the infrastructure for that kind of operation, so they need to order it BEFORE they need it the next day
