When you’re interviewing for a job, what do you do to support yourself during the interview itself? Do you keep notes handy to reference? I usually keep a copy of the job description and my resume within sight so I can remember everything I want to make sure I want to cover.

I have a VC/GE interview coming up (phone screen) and personally don’t know much about the space , it’s just an area that has always seemed interesting.

Does anyone have Recommendations on how to get up to speed/good questions to ask during the phone screen?

I would assume the first call will be pretty standard to any other company, but just want to be prepared.

Why has it been so dang hard to move from banking to a strategy role in my industry or expertise? Or a start up? 90% of my applications have passed on me before even giving me a first round interview! I’ve been on over 6 deals, and wanting out and it’s been extremely frustrating! Is it okay to transfer my H1B to a new company? Can my H1B transfer be denied? How long will my green card application delay if I move to a new company and start to apply for a green card from scratch?

Why do law firms still request transcripts even if you have been working for over 5 years? I am just curious because they seem to be the only industry that still does it.
