Darker is better for hiding dirt which I’d bet you get a decent amount of in a kitchen.
We have light grout for tile in a bathroom and the mess around the toilet is not great
Coach
I should note, this is for a galley kitchen floor.

What is the color scheme of everything we in the kitchen

I think I’d do darker grout
Dark. We went with light grout on a bathroom floor and every time I find myself scrubbing away at it so it doesn't look gross I curse that decision
Coach
It’s not white grout. It’s a silver type gray. So even if it gets a little “dirty” I doubt it would be super noticeable

Dark, but even darker than what you have
Always dark grout on a floor. Light grout ever says light
Darker.
Coach
Wow everyone saying darker and I’m leaning towards light. I kinda like the contrast…
