I’m getting paid better than I ever have been now that I’m at Publicis but I still say run awayyyyy. Don’t come here, save yourself
IPG all the way. If you’re mid management, good luck getting a raise at Publicis
It’s like saying which place is it better to flip burgers at - McDonalds, Wendy’s or Arby’s. All the same.
WPP has horrible insurance
Publicis had great benefits when I was there. The health insurance was great and their 401k was decent
IPG has been less stingy and blatant bureaucracy than Publicis in my experience.
I hear WPP pays very well but the difference of salaries can range wide in the same role depending on your negotiations and immigration status (aka if you can be taken advantage of or not)
Not WPP
This is so depressing. “Which holding company do I sell my soul to for the most money?”
Dentsu gives 4mos paid maternity leave, which is amazing
As a single, reasonably healthy person, I haven’t noticed much difference on the insurance side between the HoldCos. WPP has the strictest rules about approval for high salaries. As for the rest ... eh ... can’t say I noticed much difference. I’m sure others will have different experiences
ECD 1, I disagree. OMD’s health insurance is pretty crappy unless you don’t actually need to use it often. Mid-level raises are a joke.
Ecd1 - talk to your financial planner. That employee stock purchase plan isn’t a good deal.
Also, yes, their healthcare sucks. Unless, of course, you love calling insurance companies to get them to pay for stuff like annual checkups.
no one should ever do omnicoms espp, dumb benefit
IPG. Negotiate when you first go in, raises do not come easy
Publicis is better than Omnicom. But they both suck.
Publicis have good PTO: 15 vacay + 9 flex + day before every standard holiday + unlimited sick. But no summer Fridays or time off between Dec 26-31. And French payrises ($0) Maybe it all ends up same...
Which Publicis agency were you at? I was at PubNY and always had Christmas break off (and that was from when Linda days to current leadership), 4-5 Summer Days (they changed the policy that it didn't need to be a Friday), increased to 5 Personal days from 3, and then PTO which increased per years spent (If you negotiate for more days as part of hiring package you may not get access to this benefit)
Omnicom. They have an employee stock purchase plan as well
Omnicom is the worst. One week paid maternity leave, need I say more.
TBWA2 still more than the national minimum requirement 😂 #vote
Dentsu has 4 months off for maternity OR paternity leave (anyone who ‘welcomes a child into their life’). Everything else is pretty standard but you get to work from home once a week.
