McKinsey & Company Has any industry experienced candidates pivot to MBB Engagement Manager before? My roommate works at FAANG as Senior Analyst (Ops, 6+ YOE) and was approached by McKinsey & Company recruiter for an EM role. He hasn’t done consulting before. Would this be too much of a risk? His goal is to pivot to PE S&O eventually.

I would measure it by “how many times do they say ‘diversity’ in a day?”
Probably PwC but honestly both are pretty into D&I. Pick Deloitte if you want more white & fratty culture.
After PwC told everyone if they’re racist they can leave the firm after the George Floyd era I’d consider them the most liberal.
Thinks may have changed since I went through recruitment back in the day but I specifically remember EY being known for its religious leadership and the fact that it was a strictly “dry” firm, so I’ve always thought of them as being the most conservative of the Big 4
There's no drinking at recruiting events with college students. With regards to firm-sponsored happy hours, holiday events, etc. are definitely not dry.
how do you measure that
Rising Star
I think the two are closest of the big 4.
Big difference will be the EY split on the horizon
What split are you referring to?
I immediately think KPMG & Deloitte
Deloitte leans heavy democratic.
