Which one would you pick? Only can pick one of these 3:
Wild Turkey Rare Breed Rye for $50, Peerless BP for $60, and Maker’s 46 Cask Strength for $65

I went with Rare Breed Rye. They only had 1 bottle left and still a lot of Peerless and 46 bottles on the shelf. So might pick the Peerless this weekend based on the comments here. Btw, I absolutely like the Rare breed a lot!

I'd choose the Woodford. Why is that not an option to ya?

Truly can’t go wrong with any of them. While I’m a huge fan of Makers and wheaters in general, I’d recommend the Peerless if you haven’t had it before.

Peerless because it rarely makes it out to Colorado.

Makers is garbage.

Rare Breed

I’d go with Peerless. I’m not a fan of Rare breed rye and while I haven’t tried the 46 Cask Strength, I did not enjoy the regular Makers 46 either.

@op what did you go with?

Makers 46 👍

Any recommendations on getting into wine? I love other specialty beverages (3rd wave coffee, craft beer), but struggle to “figure out” wine.

The ability to get involved with local beer and coffee producers has been a huge factor for me, so I’m guessing the comparative lack of local wine producers has contributed to me struggling to understand more of the process, culture, tasting notes, etc.

New to Toronto, moved to the west end of town/ just past - in Etobicoke. I celebrate my 40th a few days after NYE/NYD - would love some recommendations on moderately priced but nice ambiance restaurants for myself + husband, and my extended family. Everyone is scattered throughout (Hamilton, Barrie, Lyle, Newmarket, North York). Don’t want anything too fancy but don’t really know where or what is good and not downtown.

Any recommendations? (Open to GTA of course).
