4 10’s!

like

Either way if it were limited at 40 hours it would be great...

like

Neither, I prefer my compressed schedule (four 9 hour days, then 4 hours on Friday). I do work ten hours some days, but wouldn’t want to do it every day.

like

I would prefer this myself. I'm usually over an hour a day anyway and toast by noon on Friday so this would be perfect.

Love my 4 10s

like

Love 4 10's, but the workload is extremely hard to manage some months. All of us that chose 4 10s still have months where we have to login on our days off and still work another 3-4 more hours, and sometimes a full 8 hours on top of the 4 10s we've already worked. The workload is intense most months, and then we get a few lightened ones here and there to catch our breath.

The season of life I'm in, five 8 hour days.

4 / 10's

like

I'm good with 4 days 10 hrs.

like

Who works 8 hour days? I work five 10-hour days, minimum.

like

Depends if I enjoyed the work. I'm fully remote and still working on it past 5pm (I can see others online too)

like

5. I need to be off before 7 PM

like

4 10s for sure

Always been 9-5:30, M-F.

I do six ten hour days, I would be happy with five tens, I would love four tens!!!

like

I would prefer 10 hour days with either Friday or Monday off

4 Days / 10 hrs

four 10-hr days for the win!!

I’m not working 10 hour days, I did that the majority of my career and more. Looking forward to retirement!

My professional life at the moment is far from ideal. I’ve been on quarantine (long story, but a good one) for the last seven years. Royalties from my books don’t pay the bills. My entrepreneurial pursuits remain hampered. For the interim, I’ve been looking for a remote opportunity where I can leverage my skills in marketing, sales, social media, and elsewhere for a decent sum. I have a social media presence which, in recent years, reached millions. There has to be something exciting I can do.

I then get hit with a $180 ride. Marriott website says taxi should be $65. Should I complain or let it go?

In my organization, most with my role are commission based. I make a set salary due to the firm I work for as an account manager/ coordinator for clients… I coordinate their enrollments, working with each groups HR department as to benefits and payroll purposes, and schedule our benefit counselors accordingly. I am finding that in most cases where I compare the voluntary benefits industry, I might be underpaid. What is an appropriate base salary for a position in which commission is replaced?
