How much to ask in % or ₹ for YOE 7 SAP MM consultant, with MBA from Tier1 in Accenture, Current CTC 15LPA?
Does anyone think that UK Consulting significantly differs from US Consulting? For instance, there seems to be far less emphasis on an MBA in the UK for career progression
Any precedent for a firm paying for or partially for an MBA? Realize it’s not really a safe investment for the firm because it can be such a career changer...
Is it a good idea to go to client like BCG, from Deloitte? I ll loose certification and wfh benefit!
Hi All - Just wanted to have a sense check if it is easy for an experienced individual to find a job in UK on dependent Visa ?? Based on this I would be taking a call to resign from existing firm.
I have 4.5 years of experience post MBA - 3 years with an MNC bank in India and 1.5 years in Consulting
I'm at a career juncture and have decided on a career in anti-money laundering as my new path. I'm also highly interested in additional education to further my career and am eyeing graduate school. Which is best? A law degree or a master's in international relations? Those are where my interests lie. I keep reading that JDs are valued in compliance but am wondering if a different graduate program is better for my goals. I already plan to obtain the CAMS certification. Thank you!
Is a MBA worth it? 17 years into my career.
I've been in PeopleOps (mostly focused on TA Ops) for over 9 years now. I've somehow gotten by without a degree in HR or a certification, but would like to get some more education to continue to advance my career. What are your thoughts on PHR vs SPHR vs SHRM for someone with my years of experience and current role as a manager?
What would you choose? MBB (Digital practice) or Amazon PMT?
Background: T15 MBA student, 7YoE as Mech engineer, long term goal is to climb ladder in Tech, married and have a 2year old
Situation: I have a MBB and Amazon PMT offer for summer internship that I need to choose. MBB comes with FT offer, Amazon PMT will most likely result in return offer. If I go with MBB, I plan to exit to big Tech in 2-3 years. Y1 TC for both will be quite similar (around 230k).
Thank you in advance!
Hi fishes! I had asked for benefits other than CTC which Bank of America provides & now that I've completed 1 month here, here's the list of allowances you'll be getting irrespective of position/band:
1. Sodexo: 1300 p.m./ 15,600 p.a.
2. Transport allowance: 900 one way, 1800 two ways p.m./ 21,600 p.a.
3. Internet: 1500 max p.m. (other than that, one time installation charges)
4. Tuition fee: Any certification related to your field. Like CFA, FRM etc. 3,00,000 p.a.
Im about 2.5 years in and I’m starting to really dislike tech implementation work. Maybe remote work is just killing me now. What are some common exit opportunities you’ve seen or taken? Excluding MBA
I signed up for the SHRM CP exam. Anyone have fairly recent materials they’d be open to selling or sharing? Would love to not pay 700-1000 on access to the learning portal or a class. With my masters, I can’t get EY to cover the certification but it’s something I wanted to do this year.
Currently a Wealth Advisor for Citi but I honestly hate it here with a passion it’s the worst company I’ve ever worked for in my life and I’ve been in Wealth Management in the banking channel for over a decade. Series 7, Series 63, Life, CFP, ChFC, and soon to have my MBA with a focus in Mergers & Acquisitions. I’m look to enter another area of Finance at this point instead of starting over somewhere else from scratch, but not sure what direction to go. Interested in Investment Banking or M&A.
How does one start and structure his AI/ML journey with the aim of working with the likes of Google, Amazon, Microsoft? How much time should it take to go from zero to hero?

MS in SCM Vs MBA Vs APICS CSCP?
Best cyber certification to get next? Have CISA and CISSP. Thinking AWS Security, CEH, or OSWP? Thoughts??
Georgia Tech Cybersecurity masters or the analytics masters? Currently in a cyber role at Deloitte. I was thinking it might be better to do the analytics master and get a CISSP. I feel like there is more value in the cissp than a MS cybersecurity

Many teachers in my district are being told things like If you dont turn in lesson plans, if your lesson plans aren right, if you do your data chart incorrectly ..... you will be terminated. This is not legal. Question is if you get terminated in one district can you go to another district in the middle of the year?
Any opinions on working at BlueVolt as a SDR? I've seen a lot of negative reviews on Glassdoor. Thanks

@Elevance health Hello, I’m considering applying for the Behavioral Health Director position in Iowa. I noticed a lot of positions suddenly opened in this area. Why does this bowl have no icon?
I’ve been asked to travel for work, and I am not comfortable doing it. It will be to events with 1000s of people. I have at risk family members. It’s one program, out of my 6 programs I’m working on. The rest of the company is not being asked to come back in the office. Any advice?
There is a partner in our office that routinely discusses associate performance with other associates. For example, she will tell Associate A that Associate B isn’t performing and/or hitting hours, etc. Recently, I learned that she has been discussing “issues” she had with my work product two years ago (I no longer do any work for her). Is this something I should bring up? It bothers me that she is talking about me to others.
Any advice on creating a freelance creative shop for side/non profit work, on top of doing your day job? Bad idea?
I am a 3rd year senior associate in alternative investment tax and up for manager promotion this year. I really dislike the long hours of this job and seeking to make a move. Although I’m not sure i necessarily want to stay in tax. I have a young toddler at home and want to find a job i like, makes decent money, and has decent hours so i can spend more time with family.
Has anyone been in a similar position and made a move? Can you please share your experience? Thanks!

Has anyone interviewed for IRS SBSE (small business self employment) in Southern California-Specifically San Bernardino and Orange County? I interviewed with them in end of October 2020 and has not heard back. I followed up with my interviewer. Interviewer said he has no idea on the timeline; if selected, HR personal will contact me. I went to the federal soup; it appears that someone from other cities have already got the offer. Wondering if I will get a “ not selected” email.

I’ve been looking into these as well, but they’re super uncommon. I genuinely regret going b4 and turning down rotation offers.
I see your perspective. In my mind, the aspect i like the most about big 4 is the inherent “rotation” albeit to different companies. Now, I feel like i prefer the internal rotations to different functions at the same company. Same underlying concept but in-house i guess
I would look into those jobs carefully, a lot of jobs that are pre-mba jobs reserve slots for people at are already accepted into mba programs with differed acceptance.
