Are there industry jobs (PE, HF, etc.) where I would still work similarly as hard as B4, but get paid commensurately? e.g. instead of a standard 9-5 industry getting 100k, 9-7 industry getting 120k

I worked at an HF and I would say the hours weren’t that different from big four except they weren’t all piled into one season. Like instead of working 65-70 hrs a week during busy season and barely 40 during the summer you work 50 hours a week every week. The pay was better and the bonus was more than 10% of my salary.

How does contract to hire work? If I’m offered $37/hr on w2 for 3 months and then possibly a permanent position, how much can I expect to get annually as a full time company employee as a BI data analyst II? I have a M.S. and certificates in DA but this will be my first job as DA.
I prefer working for what is offered on contract without negotiating, and then negotiate when I transition into the company itself so I have a better chance of getting the contract position and show my skills.

Any good cos providing perman remote option ?

How did you tell your manager you’re pregnant? Did it affect pay/promos? And then, subsequently, how did you start letting colleagues know you’re pregnant? Feels awkward to just randomly drop the news in a meeting! I work remotely so it’s hard to tell by video :) I’m 21 weeks and feel like I’ve waited as long as I can to at least notify my manager. I was waiting to negotiate my salary for next year but per company trend that doesn’t get set until January (manager reviews are written in Dec).
