Perk of United 1K. Invite to United's private restaurant; Classified. If you are 1K or GS and in Newark, need to allocate time to try it. Good food, drinks and a place to chill. Contd.
Does IHG do a status match with either bonvoy, Hyatt or Hilton? Any contact or link I can request on

Today’s points adventure: Will be about 1,000 MQM short of 150,000 on American (you get 2 SWU or 40,000 points for reaching 150k). Only travel left is an award flight booked for the holidays...cont’d

Getting rid of my Platinum Delta SkyMiles AMEX. Spoke with Delta - it doesn't help my priority for upgrades unless I spend more than $25k on the card. Only Delta Reserve AMEX helps priority.
You think I can hit 1K by end of the year? I only have 20 days left. How can I best do a heart-mileage run?
Which option is better to pay for a flight? - 52000 United Miles - 35000 CSR points - $500 Trying to pick the best value option.
Kpmg global services vs Deloitte consulting.. ServiceNow opening.. Which one would you suggest. Looking for good WLB and transparent team
Anyone aware of a Delta fast track I could sign up for? Not a status match, just a from scratch fast track. Know they have done this in the past often aimed at specific companies. Thanks :)
Hi Fishes.. what do yoiu recommend? Assurance in Deloitte USI or Financial Due Diligence in KPMG Global Services?
I am about to loose United Gold Status, can I match this status quickly on another airline? Which one would you suggest?
Just wondering if this triple dip would work: Book Marriott hotel through United MileagePlus Shopping giving 1 mile per $, Marriott points for stay and 6 points per $ for using Bonvoy Brilliant card?
Hertz SPG status match with points double dip is a game changer. Deuces Avis. 5 Star for Plat. Pres Circle for Plat100.
Hi All, I am a BPO professional working as a mid level supervisor in a domestic business. I have recently being laid off as the project we worked for moved away. Currently I am searching a lateral position but unable to find one in spite of several interview attempts. I would really appreciate if you all share some advise if I should start over as a entry level or wait indefinitely for further opportunities. I am only income generator of the family and cant afford staying jobless for months
What is the highest demand/paying WDAY certification right now? What WDAY cert do you think will be in high demand for then next 2-5 years? What WDAY cert will provide the most value for an implementation team?
does anybody know how to be an expatriate in big4? My understanding is you will still get paid based on your home office location(e.g. US) but being stationed abroad.
For companies that will adopt more remote positions, do you think they’ll start offering candidates slightly lower salaries for the privilege of WFH full time?
Hope everyone is having a wonderful day so far! Anybody from Deloitte or Accenture willing to provide a referral to my friend/ex-colleague? She is interested in change management or PM roles
Do NOT claim you are "colorblind" in the workplace. 1. DE&I knowledge is now a core leadership competency. Colorblind claims will earn you the reputation of being DEI-ignorant at best & racist at worst. 2. Colorblindness within the context of workplace diversity is an obvious lie. You do NOT want to be painted as an intellectually dishonest leader. 3. Colorblind claims signal that you lack the leadership skills & vocabulary to have key conversations. Ask questions here, in this safe space.
The belief that you should be able to move from HCOL to LCOL and not have to take a pay cut is ultimate in socioeconomic and geographic privilege and outright entitlement. Nobody is going to give LCOL a raise to move to HCOL. The work you do is the same, you produce the same value, bill the same rate as peers in another geography. Take a pay cut or give LCOL a significant raise.
Currently work at AWS in Business Intelligence and am looking to transfer into Product Management. Looking at MBB eventually. In my experience, most people from MBB have FAANG as their exit op. Why?
Personal tax Q: -Recently accepted job offer, starting new job in a couple of weeks -Spouse had a medical incident last week -Havent fully funded my HSA yet so I wanna route some emergency money thru there -Bills havent shown up yet -Should I drop money in the HSA now or wait til I start the new job and presumably get a new HSA plan? I've never changed jobs with an HSA before and have no idea how hard it's going to be to get into the account after I leave
sometime i feel bad when i got sick at the client site and stay back at the hotel. feel like i waste their money :/
I feel like I can’t redeem my career. I’ve been out of paying work since I graduated. My bar was delayed due to a medical problem and since then I’ve only been able to find volunteering. I’ve been working for free for 2 years now. My network is tapped, my mentors are confused why I can’t find anything, my law school’s career services actually gave up on me, I don’t have the money to move to a new place, I have no other support and I can’t even go back to retail because nobody’s hiring out here.
Accenture 🐠.. final round in person interview coming up for manager role with MD first then case interview w/sr mgr. Confused about case after MD interview. Why? What to expect?
Director on project calls in our order for sushi pickup today and starts rattling off the rolls he wants to get. After he's finished Partner on engagement tells him he dialed the wrong number.😂😂😂😗
Real talk 2: if you decide to have children, it’s entirely possible you will not like the child at first (or at various points). It’s a huge decision, and having complex feelings about the matter is completely valid
For people that were laid off last year or have been job searching for a few months, how are you staying optimistic and dealing with the interview fatigue? I feel like coping with rejections is one thing and I can bounce back from those but the burnout from interviewing and repeating stories is something else 😏
