I'm looking for roles that have aspects of event strategy & marketing. I have experience doing both and would like to continue on that path but I struggle with what titles to look for. Company suggestions are appreciated as well! Is there a role out there that would allow me to work with clients and plan their event/marketing strategy?

Looking for roles on the Customer/Marketing/Sales Consulting side of things. MBA w majority of time in industry looking to make a switch.

It is a fact that Capgemini Group pays low salaries to folks however
1. People tend to stay for a long time
2. Folks are also from good B schools in invent

What are the reasons that folks stay for such a long time when I have seen even directors at CG at 35-40 lpa only?

Glassdoor mentions the salary range as 9LPA to 14LPA
Is is fair to ask for that range? Given my CTC is so low?

While one side I am glad that I am trying something new and having a diverse experience but again I feel I am becoming Jack of all and Master of None. Any advice is appreciated

I have been at my company for 3.5 years. One year ago (2.5 years into my employment with them) they re-leveled everyone and I was bumped to an entry level position on the terms that they changed my job title when they re-leveled, so “technically” I am at the early stages of my new title. Even though the job duties did not really change.
I’m not sure the best way to approach this. Has anyone else had a similar experience or know how I should advocate for myself?

Thoughts on compensation? Have an offer that is less in salary than what I wanted (it’s on par with what I currently make) but the annual bonus is quite a bit more. I got them to go up a very small amount in salary. They couldn’t do more than that but said they could make up the difference with annual bonus (increase it to a higher percentage). Bonus is based on company performance and individual. Company does really well they may add extra, company does bad it could only be half. Cont’d..

Basically, this. What’s the path? Yes I work in public rn and yes I work in tax. So obviously things need to change. But do I do CPA? Maybe MBA? How long should I stay in public? Have 4 busy seasons under my belt although only 1 with a firm that anyone has heard of. Not interested in being controller or CFO of a huge public company, something “small”. Thanks!
