Hello all, i have. A question regarding compensation for a lateral move. I just received a job offer for an UA position from a competing cyber insurance carrier for $70,000 + bonuses. This job will be based out of San Francisco. I currently make $30/hour for the same role in Chicago, after OT it’s about $60,000. Do you think it would be wise to accept the offer? Thoughts on “special” salary grades. I just found out the VP I was offered is not a grade 12 like most comparable roles (verified). Also not an 11, but an 11A. Slightly higher than an 11, a good bit lower than a 12. All due to the fact that it’s a leap from my current position. Why should that matter…..shouldn’t it pay what it should pay if I am selected, rather that curving down towards my current rate?
