Hi fishes Will work from home in FIS continue atleast upto Dec 2022? Any idea? FIS Global
I got offer in Bangalore FIS and my husband got an offer with one big company in Hyderabad. Both companies are currently WFH only but in future, I might have to consider moving to Hyderabad. Fis doesn't have office in Hyderabad so I was wondering if I can ask permanent WFH later. I guess I will be put in fis payment solution.
Thanks in advance. Kindly let me know. FIS Global

There are no benefits to being at my desk, and the policy is hurting recruiting.
The only time i feel like i need to be there in person is for shoots, edits and mix sessions
We are doing in-person edit here in NYC when the budget can afford it and the creatives actually live in the vicinity. Having done both now, in-person is still soo much more efficient especially in a time crunch
We are hybrid and half the agency is usually at home when the other half is in the office. So, still zoom, headphones etc. Totally pointless.
I try to get my team in for brainstorms and before client meetings for the final prep which makes things easier and more enjoyable.
I also definitely saw the juniors open up more when we’re face to face and it’s easier for me to mentor them.
In summary; when you’re in the office with no real purpose it’s useless and annoying. When you’re in office for a specific goal, it is pretty nice and i do enjoy it.
I still can’t imagine being forced to go in everyday like a zombie.
CD1, I feel the same way, I actually don't mind hybrid but it does feel pointless when I go into the office and no one else is there. I feel like it's only beneficial if there are set days/occasions when everyone on the team knows to come in.
I had to go in twice this week and both of those days I got hardly anything done.
Ahhhhhhh the $20 salad. Sorry, SP1 👎🏼

My agency team sits around the world.
My client split between two cities, not my city. Going into the office just makes my life harder and less efficient.
Dreading being in person where I can’t focus and get so easily distracted. Yes, easier to just walk up to someone and ask a question, but I would rather be home where I can think.
We go in 3x a week , home 2x. wish it was the other way, but whatever. creative brainstorms and most meetings in general are better in person. as someone said above, the juniors learn faster and are more productive in the office. yeah, it to focus on my own stuff on those days in the office but try to crank on that stuff on my home days.
people leave between 5 and 5:30
Not a creative but everyone on my immediate team is remote. I think I talked to three people while I was in the office today #culture
My agency is doing the 3x office 2x home a week. I have to say that I actually enjoy it. Hated it at first. It was hard to get back into the rhythm of going into the office, it’s like a muscle that atrophied. But getting to know my colleagues in person, have lunch, go for a walk, grab a coffee, laugh at peoples stupid jokes — is really nice. Even if most of my meetings are still video calls, it makes work fun again. And social. It’s pretty lame being super busy and sitting at home in front of my computer, meeting after meeting. That’s when it becomes a grind. Creative people are fun to be around IMO.
This is great. This makes it sound worth it. Thanks.
It’s pointless. Lots of places for lunch are not budget friendly. My team is all over the world so I’m on the phone regardless. Nobody goes up to each other and introduces themselves and if you try people find you weird. Lots of people have low morale due to lack of choice. I think it would be different if there was a choice. People still went in when it was a choice because others prefer but people value flexibility
(Cont) And is on-site now, better than pre-pandemic days on-site working? I happen to think so many people love working from home, because pre-pandemic office life wasn't worth the trouble of going in. Just wondering what the "culture" is now? What has the on-site mandate improved?
If my whole team or even 75% of my team was in the office, hybrid would make sense. For me, I am the only one on my direct team that is in office. It’s really pointless to have hybrid unless your whole team or most of the team is there. My associate is in Columbia and my boss works remote and others are in a different region than me. I wouldn’t mind going in if I had a team to go to where I can have meetings in person but that is not the case at all.
In the office tues-thurs, Monday and Friday are WFH. I don’t mind it, get a lot done in the office and Mondays and Fridays are much more chill from home.
As a junior, it’s been great working in a hybrid model. I’ve made many friends with people who I wouldn’t have met if I was fully remote. I also like all the in office social events as well. Collaborating in person has its benefits. Ultimately, you can be successful in any model, remote, hybrid, of fully in person. Just depends on the person.
I handle resourcing at my agency and I do like hybrid. I get so much more done at home, have space for more sensitive meetings etc. But I will say, being in the office a day or two a week does make me better at my job because I can see people, build trust and understand at a deeper level how they’re doing with workloads, etc.
We are supposed to go in twice a week and I honestly love it.
Is it messy - yes. Totally. We haven’t figured out meetings well and we haven’t figured out closed concepting spaces for those with remote partners, so I totally get if that’s your situation, coming in would be a hinderance.
Most of my team comes into the office, so on days we’re there we get a lot of work out of the way that requires CD oversight or decision making. It also really helps having other people around to bounce things off of. My main CD is a copywriter, so being able to go up to other art directors or designers when I know they have a min is so helpful.
I’d also say that it’s easier to form relationships with people on other accounts. This is especially nice when you’re trying to get off the brand you’re currently on. Having other CDs ask for you is hard to achieve without small talk about random shit.
That being said….. if only a few people came in person each week it wouldn’t be worth it for me to come in myself.
