Definitely go back to India. Better quality of life and the rupee will definitely become the new fiat currency.

likefunnyhelpful

Indian rupee is already a fiat currency. Do you mean Indian rupee will become reserve currency? There is a higher probability that WW3 will happen than rupee becomes reserve currency

PL1 You’re a little scummy. Just a little.

Move back to India.

The United States is very safe so long as you’re not related to the Trump family as I imagine they will have several generations of potential assassinations to look forward to given they have not backed the Ukrainians to the fullest extent, and taken out the supreme leader of Iran. I don’t wish harm on anyone, but that dude is putting a curse on his family the way he is acting.

I guess Bush and Obama should be worried too. Oh but that goes under the "but that's different" rule. Please

From a physical security perspective, the US is thousands of miles away from danger. India almost got into a shooting war with Pakistan last year.

Although we could start shooting each other here so who knows.

Canada is probably a better bet. Their immigration system is pretty sensible, and hopefully Trump will have his tiny hands too full of Iran shenanigans to actually get around to invading it any time soon.

India less safe than US but maybe better prospects

Just don’t go to Isreal

I moved back to India from US last year but not under any of these delusions of a US collapse. US will stay the strongest (and safer) country, S&P will return better than Indian indices and the USD will only strengthen vs the INR. So move if you have reasons beyond safety and money.

How do you guys handle working with a staff accountant who just completely ignores you when you delegate work down to them, and who gives you an attitude all the time? If I send an email, I also have to follow up with her on teams multiple times, and hope after a few hours she actually does what she says she will do. I moved from public to industry recently, and I’ve always had great staff that wanted to do well and have never experienced working with someone who just doesn’t want to do the job.

Help me understand something fundamental about altcoins. For those coins that serve as defi projects with real-world use cases, why do they need to be tradable, and why do they have a fluctuating market value? In other words, why is each particular application or idea based on blockchain also something that can be bought and sold by people who are not involved in the project?

Due to obvious conditions my comp for the calendar year (salary+bonus) is back to 2017 levels although my overall sales are more than double and 1/3 less total comp than last year. It seems like comp opportunity is always decreasing during good times (I get it) but when it comes to adjusting during bad times, nothing was done. Is this normal for industry sales?
