Working as a Senior Cybersecurity consultant at EY.
Completed 5years and a prior 2 years experience as well.

Looking to switch, what type of roles should i target and compensation expectations?
I have been hands down technical in cyber with great python scripting experience

Tbh you will probably have to take a pay cut in industry for a decent work/life balance unless you go for a technical security engineer or senior security architect roles.

How technical are you? These days they are paying $180K for senior cyber engineers.

If you make manager you could probably make decent money as a technical PM in industry.

Got it, thanks for shedding light

Why not stay and make Manager? It’s a pretty nice bump from senior to manager.

Any insight into the Product Development Specialist role at Facebook? My goal is product management and I am currently a strategy consultant with 3 YOE (not technical), but this seems like a possible path toward that goal. The initial total comp brought up was only $110K (base, bonus, stock), which is barely more than I am making now, though they said there was room to negotiate on the stock portion.

Hi new here. Idk what my value is and if I’m getting paid an amount that reflects my hard work. I am a paralegal for a small law firm (family and immigration) w only 1 attorney. I have about 20 files or more in my rotation at a time. I work on various types of cases at once. Some are simple, others are extensive. I feel like it’s very unstructured and one of the managers micromanages. It’s like every man for himself. Take home pay is $50k. I am working on my bachelors deg. Do I get paid enough?
