In the span of a long career, this will just be one inconsequential fork in the road. If you get the offer and you like the work, just take it. There’s no need to overthink as over time no one will really pay attention to the specifics of when you left McK, etc. I believe there’s always more than one path to get to where you’re going, you just have to directionally be consistently moving forward
I was in the same place and decided to apply to see if I got anything good enough to leave for. I ended up accepting a job fairly quickly and never any regrets since. Yeah I guess I maybe could’ve ended up in a better place job-wise if I threw away another two years of my life in MBB but life is too short
BA1 - Think about the CEOs with no college degrees/degrees from random colleges. At some point, it’s up to luck and on you, not how many years you suffered at MBB.
