Working overtime—worth it for visibility? I’ve been staying late almost every night to show my commitment, but now I'm starting to wonder if it’s even noticed or appreciated. For those of you who’ve done the same, did it pay off? Or should I just focus on quality work during regular hours?

Been interviewing for front end dev - 5YOE. Had been with Deloitte USI as a Consultant back in India. Applying for big 4's and tech firms but seems like they have been taking forever to review the applications (2-3 weeks now for few since applied!)

Have one offer from CGI as Sr.Con for 105k. Does anyone know how good/not good is CGI in terms of work, culture, WLB, perks?

I am not enjoying my work here, no motivation at all. Dreaded to report to work and having stress and anxiety. My manager is trying to micromanage me as productivity is on the lower side.

Another thing is, I have started to dislike my current tech and no more interested in it.
What are my options here ?

I have got 2 offers. I am not sure which one to choose. I have mentioned the details below.

1. Elsevier - 23 Fixed + 3.5 variable pay(No relocation required)
2. T-Systems - 26 Fixed + 2 lakhs joining bonus (Bangalore relocation required - Hybrid model)

Confused between the above 2 offers. Which one will be better regarding wlb and job security?

Recommendations for firms to look into in South FL? I'm in Ft. Lauderdale but am open to Boca or Miami. I'm a first year associate in ID (coverage issues) but really would prefer transactional work. More importantly though, I'm looking for companies who pay relatively well (doesn't necessarily have to be market), are open to remote/hybrid work, aren't sweatshops. I accepted a new offer and put in my notice this week and my company provided a counteroffer. The offer is lower than my new offer but I know it’s the best they can do. Financially I do need the money but I’m also tempted to stay because my current team is so great. I have 2 questions 1) when does it make sense to prioritize workplace happiness/ balance over financial well-being? 2) if I go back on my offer acceptance should I consider that bridge burned?
