Fired or laid off? I could see the firm rehiring someone who was laid off. If you were fired for cause, there would likely have to be some crazy business case to justify that.
Probably depends why you were let go
Maybe, but know your own worth, and abilities.
Double edged sword here, they either under valued you, you were too rough around the edges, so combo of the two.
If it is the former, know your worth. If it is the latter be realistic in evaluating whether you fixed those things that lead to being terminated.
Why would you want to voluntarily join a firm that let you go?
He’s ready to be hurt again
Might as well apply, it takes like 5 minutes
Agreed. I would just apply and see what happens.
Yup. I did it. A lot of years in between but I did it.
Why did they fired you? It was fail for PIP or laid off?
Layoff yes. Firing probably not unless you have someone in establishment doing the (re)hire or you are bringing a metric shit ton of revenue with you. Good news though. There are 3 other firms. If you got fired why would you want to go back to a place that did not want you. F that.
They do rehire depends on the partner.
Happens allll the time
Yes. I’ve seen it happen.
I would imagine so. I don’t know anyone above 30 that holds onto the hate to mess someone’s career up by telling others not to rehire them for another service line.
