I’d be willing, but can you be more specific? Do you meant treatment OF administrative staff, or bad treatment BY admin staff? Thanks, be well
I have been teaching for 26 years. I have seen and heard it ALL. Nothing surprises me anymore.
I don't have a lot of bad experiences, to be honest, but only because I'm new to the field. On my first day, the lady in the lobby stopped me from leaving the school because she thought I was a student skipping class. To be fair, I am petite and she immediately apologized but it was kind of embarrassing since there were parents in the area who saw what happened. It was just rudeness and nothing more than that. Would you mind sharing your experience?
When I told my principal that I was out of school because I suffered a miscarriage (at age 42, nonetheless) she told me "You must be so relieved!"
WTF? I’m so sorry this is the response you got! What an ignorant fool!
Yes. Although it's not easy beacuse the people around you might not actually understand where you're coming from. Others may also misunderstand you. It really depends upon the environment and the people that surrounds you.
