Can a sex less marriage survive if everything else is as great as a couple can have in realistic and non filmy scenario.

Comforting others:
When someone tells me bad news regarding their health, I say everything I am supposed to say (I’m sorry to hear that, I’m here for you, etc) EXCEPT “everything is going to be ok”. Because I can’t guarantee that and I really don’t know if everything is going to be ok. I was taken aback recently when a friend told me I am calloused and cold-hearted for not being able to say those words. Is she right? Should I start saying this for the purposes of providing comfort only??

My sister and I have recently both come to the realization that our parents guilt us into spending time with them or visiting them and the guilt causes us both to shut down. Anyone with anxious attachment tendencies? Going through a breakup and I keep thinking about how I pushed him away and then am down on myself, replaying memories in my mind. At the end of the day, I think we were a bad match from the beginning and misaligned, but so hard not to beat myself over my anxious attachment during my relationship

I’ve learned recently about some traumatic events that family members of mine have gone through but I had no idea had occurred. Besides my parents divorcing I really have not experienced that many hardships or trauma in my life. Sometimes it makes me worry if I’m due for something bad to happen, if the other shoe was going to drop at some point. I know hardships are a part of life and I feel like I have had far less than normal

I broke up with my EX mainly because the relationship with my child and her was not the best, it sucks but I have to look out for my child, So far I am able to do the things I can do now. It is not the I am not Hoeing around but the simply fact that I can hang out with friends and go watch my son play baseball is a great feeling now. I feel at peace now, in somewhat of pain because of the breakup but I am at peace now.

This has been my hardest year yet. Morale is rock bottom throughout. I am feeling the burn out coming fast. Any suggestions for getting a new attitude or outlook to want to come back next year?

What does your school or district do to support staff wellness?

I am on a stress leave. Every time I look at emails from work, the less encouraged I am to return. It is so overwhelming! I want to finish out the year, but will definitely not be making it back next year. So many things have changed, and next year there will be all kinds of change and turmoil. I am sad to be leaving on such a low note. I always envisioned retiring at the top of my game, having a party...etc...

My doctor had me take a week off because of the chronic stress and borderline panic my situation at work is causing.

In many ways, I feel recharged, confident...and more ready than ever to quit. :(

Man if this admin keeps nitpicking me on things that have been done for years it’s time for me to go. I just can’t deal with that kind of stress everyday.

Tomorrow they are requiring masks again and I was almost in tears when I found out. We have been mask free (recommended) since June and I feel like we are being muzzled again. I am vaccinated, frustrated, and have been off of antidepressants since March. I don’t even want to go into work tomorrow. Anything is better than being virtual and I am trying to look at the bright side, but moving backward still burns. We have parent-teacher conferences coming up and I am hoping that it’s temporary.

First year teacher who has gotten PTSD from one student. 2 concussions, multiple scratches, bruises etc. I can’t help but feel burnt out and it’s not even my second semester...

Thinking of leaving the education profession and getting a law degree. It’s just a viper pit and it’s not okay to spend your entire life feeling unappreciated.

I am not only an educator, but a therapist as well in my spare time. I have found that having strategies to share with others has actually improved my mental health. Am willing to share with you....
