The Bowl is oddly silent
31 F based in Chicago. Does anyone want to talk?
Ok be honest, candidates. I really love this set of questions, I’ve been considering shifting my current interview style to these questions - I think they really give you an idea of who this person would be within the work setting. But the questions almost feel too deep for a recruiter to ask. What would you think if a recruiter took a different path and asked these questions instead of the usual ones?

I had to take a custodial job. In order to stay in my district in N C. I loved it because it kelp me in shape. I also took a cafeteria position to get my foot in the door in Georgia. But, as soon as a position came open in both cases.....🏃♀️🏃♀️🏃🏿♀️🏃🏿♀️🏃🏿♀️🏃🏿♀️
I was right back in the classroom. Doing what i do best. Caring for and loving on my Special Education students. Teaching them life goals to be able to survive in the world after schooling is over. That is truly where my 💓is.... ⛪️✏️🖍🖊✂️🪑👓👗👡

Sure, I think I would do that. Finding a school or district you love is honestly a wonderful thing, so I would take whatever I could there. Hopefully at some point the job you wanted would open up, but if not, just being somewhere you like to be is worth a lot, to me. But I would worry I’d miss teaching a lot after a while.
Never hurts to apply
I guess if you can swallow being an admin and having to force Kool-aid down people's throats without questioning anything.
And if you take an administrative position that pays more than teaching, especially in your last years before retirement, that will raise your yearly average and yield a higher pension. So I have been told by my “friends “.
Hence many teachers will switch to higher paying admin jobs before they retire.
Absolutely especially if the pay is better
I am doing the opposite--looking for an admin job while teaching in the job I love. I would definitely take a different position if you want to stay in that school and then maybe in the future you can get the job you want.
