Wtf is for further consideration? Re: HBS what do I do

How important is a master's degree for your career? Can you have longevity and thrive in the tech world with just a bachelor's? Asking this because I've been preparing for CAT this year and I feel like my preparation is only good enough to get me around 90-95 %ile which is not enough to get a call from the top IIMs. I've been preparing alongside my job and its been a tough 3 months. Should I spend another year preparing and appear for CAT 2023 or should I give up and prepare for interviews?

Have any of you, or know of someone that has transitioned out of Cyber with an MBA? Worth it? Assuming T10 MBA program.

Does anyone ever question the possibility of going to law school?

I’m a 23yo female legal assistant working/living in Canada. I am completing my BA in hopes of continuing with law school after. But, I just turned 23 and I’m anxious about my love life and starting a family. I haven’t had a boyfriend since 2019 and I’ve poured my heart and soul into my education & career.

I’ve always wanted to go to law school since age 14. But I also want a husband/kids. I don’t feel like I can have both.

Working on some law firm applications tonight and it sucks that I know that I am so capable and have a strong work ethic but firms can’t see beyond grades or the fact that I didn’t go to a t14 law school or prestigious undergrad. I’ve worked twice as hard and feel like I’ve barely even gotten half as much. It’s discouraging sometimes especially because I worked so hard with pretty much no guidance (first gen, poc, low-income) to get into college and do well and then get into a t30 law school

Why do bschools omit average acceptance gpa from their public class profile stats? Some do sure, but a large majority in T25 don’t 🧐

Do companies really check to see if you completed your degree from uni most employee I have worked for never really asked to see it ?

What are M7 MBB recruiting timelines ? Considering applying right now to MBB, but if I get rejected I’m going to do an MBA, will I be blacklisted from applying for summer internships if I get rejected this fall ?

Is CSCP worth it? 2 years out of school and know i want to be/stay in the supply chain field but torn between prioritizing that or GMAT right now. Feels like id be way more motivated in studying for this over GMAT rn too

I have worked in marketing for about 6-7 years. First few years were in social media management. My goal is to work at a big tech company.

I’ve heard mixed results about the ROI of earning an MBA. My near future goal is to move into a Marketing Director (or senior manager) role.

Any Bridge Engineers/Structural Engineers in here? I got my PE this year and have 5 YOE in TX + an MS. What sort of raise would you expect for receiving your PE working in a consulting firm? I am EOR on a number of structures in development, I manage EITs and Drafters (within projects; I'm not a supervisor), and am doing a lot in general. I'm at 78k currently, which is apparently still in the upper range of EIT salaries per a job posting in CO. I'm thinking of 15% (5% merit, 10% PE). Any ideas?

Hello everyone, I need suggestion regarding carrear transition. Devops or data engineering which path should I choose, I am software test enginner with 7 yr of experience.

I feel left out in my firm. How do I make 'friends' with my colleagues? I've been here for a year. I am naturally not a very out going person, was never 'cool' and I struggle to speak in group situations / make engaging conversation with higher ups. Emailed the schools and some have replied saying I should update my resume and send to them.

I'm a little at a loss of what to add to my resume. As most of you know in consulting we don't get a bunch of new responsibilities the second we get promoted to the next level (at least before getting promoted to M).

I'm thinking I will add a section for Senior Consultant and add what my responsibilities reasonably would be in 3-6 months (cont)
