Y’all, I’ve tried to make the best of it, but I can’t pretend anymore. I hate going into this office. It’s not the same as pre-COVID. Everyone’s pissed to be here, nobody’s friendly anymore, we all have to be quiet because accounts takes calls all over the place, every olive branch that the c-suit extends is tone deaf and insulting, and I’m still taking 99% of my meetings on my laptop. I thought I’d be fine with this, but I legit dread coming in here, and I haven’t dreaded my job in a while.
