As she brought it up, you can now go back and ask for clear expectations and a plan for improving and meeting her expectations. The course "dealing with difficult interactions", helped my team. Don't be defensive, take the opportunity to prove that you want to succeed, but you need feedback, tools and coaching. Let her know you like feedback in the moment, hearing about it once a year is unconstructive
