I was just offered a sales consultant role at a spirit’s distributor 65K with potential to make 75K if I meet goals etc. My dream job @ Red Bull, Similar role but way more fun around the same range of $$ possibly slightly more ..am still waiting to hear if I made it to the final round. Interviewed for Meta exactly 2 weeks ago today. Contacted the recruiter last Tuesday and they said they were waiting to hear back from the hiring manager to discuss the interview results. So I have family situation I've been dealing with and yesterday at a company function outside the office, my supervisor brought it up in front of a bunch of people. First of all highly inappropriate, but also it's nobody's business. She's made comments before outside of work about how her boss is gay, blah blah blah. I'm just at a loss. Should I report it to HR? And if I do, how do I do it without it being known that it came from me??

I broke up with my EX mainly because the relationship with my child and her was not the best, it sucks but I have to look out for my child, So far I am able to do the things I can do now. It is not the I am not Hoeing around but the simply fact that I can hang out with friends and go watch my son play baseball is a great feeling now. I feel at peace now, in somewhat of pain because of the breakup but I am at peace now.

Don’t want to get into why, but been struggling hard mentally recently. Only time I can get some peace in my mind is when I nap/sleep.

I didn't apply for a job that would have set me up for the future in the government. I wouldn't have to worry about money or future jobs. My boss had just given me a small pay rise and talked up the future and so I felt good. I now severely regret not applying for the job and cannot stop thinking about it to the point of insomnia and depression. I even contacted the employer but too late. It's a small town and rarely anything comes up. I hate myself and feel like I failed my family. :(

Setting healthy boundaries with family is HARD. Specifically a family that suppresses emotions, gets defensive, won’t talk out conflict, tons of gaslighting.

It’s so hard to stay connected when I’m so misunderstood and disrespected constantly. It’s never huge, but a constant 3-4 out of 10 no matter the day. We never talk about anything.

I’m just so exhausted trying to make it work with them. I don’t have many friends (hey pandemic) and it’s so, so lonely.

Female here and I hate to say it! But whenever I’m pull to a new project I secretly hope I don’t get a female lead. 😞 I had some interesting experiences with women leads, which it does not apply to all women!, but I feel a bit hesitant and I feel is ptsd lol how can I overcome this mentality?! I'm starting to realize that a lot of my life problems are from me trying to treat my depression with alcohol. This is the most sober I've been in a long time and generally I feel a lot better but it would be so easy to get drunk. Physically the consequences are what are keeping me from doing it. It makes me feel really good though and I miss the high, I am grateful that I can resist it now but at least temporarily it was a cure that worked it made me feel accepted and whole.

Perspective: monogamy is anti-human nature; in this era where each parent could raise a kid independently, marriage tends to be a shackle on many aspects of life. We live once, why does society expect us to live with 1 person for 60+ years? No wonder divorce rates are through the roof!

Been with my GF since college and we recently hit the 4 year mark. 1-2 years into our relationship I found out she had instances of micro-cheating (flirting with guys, talking to ex’s etc - but nothing physical) and we addressed it. To her credit and my knowledge, she’s been apologetic and great at respecting boundaries since, but I still feel the pain from her actions years ago (and have talked to her about it). Feeling lost about whether to just leave or to try and work things out

My boss won’t stop sexually harassing me. Verbally, email, texts - 400+. He even set up his office with a display of sex toys and edibles condiments to show me that he planned to give me oral sex. All started 3 weeks into the job. I moved my family cross country for this job and just bought a house. He promises me none of his requests or my responses will affect my job and is just begging now to be friends with me. Tell me what would you do if you were me.
