@Zartico is loosing the best talent in our Data Science, Strategy, & Engineering. We got a new CTO who is a mess and co-ops what they do and then rebrands it as her own. Talking to a DS she is well known for bumbling the basics of data and technology, only to be corrected by her rank and file. We just had a layoff of 50% of the whole org due to mismanagement by the CEO, the recently fired CMO and Owner.

Does a company like this survive? Do I leave avoid the next layoff? Is outsourcing an option

Millennials like us always assume we’re about to get fired - I actually have been laid off in a meeting with that title. But at my new job, my boss asked for a “quick chat” to literally ask me to change the title of a meeting and then chat about christmas. Now that I’m in management, I want to understand it better.

I’m well liked around the office, I put in the hours and work hard, I haven’t had any dumpster fire projects, but I am a mediocre performer compared to my peers (not as strong project management, communication, not as confident). Hi everyone, I'm new to Canada and want to start my career here in the Financial and Banking industry. I have passed the CFA level 2 exam and was wondering if I have to complete the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) as most of the job postings here mention about it. I saw that if someone passes at least the CFA level 1 exam then the requirement of CSC is exempted. Can anyone enlighten me about this? As the CSC exam costs above 1000 CAD, I wanted to be sure if I need it before investing behind it.

My doubt is, does the value of the certificate of IFRS change depending on the Institution?

Will a person who cleared IFRS from IAAP have same value as a person who cleared IFRS from ACCA?

What base salary/ total comp to expect for a Sr PM in Toronto in today’s market?

I was looking at PM roles only that were around $110k, one company approached me with Sr PM (title bump) at $110k. I’m getting scheduled for final interview loop next week with this company and planning to negotiate if an offer is extended from them.
