I'm a Staff and really want to go to law school. If I went to a Top 15 school and returned to consulting- what level/salary would you expect? Thanks in advance!!
With the new minimum salary laws in NYC, if you are a 1st year associate in the NYM at $60k, you make just $1500 more than what is legally allowed for a salaried employee. Pretty funny
I am roughly 30% underpaid on my base salary as I’ve learned through recent phone screens for lateral positions. I like my job but this is NYC, shit is unacceptable...what should I do?

Currently a tax S2 at a Big 4 firm and up for manager this coming year. I’m considered a high performer and am at the top salary level for my position. However, I’ve grown more and more tired every busy season and am longing to have more work life balance. Been contemplating leaving for a family office or industry. Has anyone left and regretted it?
My management team looked me straight in the eyes and offered me a 5k bonus like it was a great bonus. So laughable
Dealing with serious health issues. Physical and mental. I’m in my mid twenties. Considering quitting and taking 2-4 months to focus on improving my health, going to doctors appointments, exercising, going to therapy, taking time to myself. Just recently joined a new firm after being laid off a few months ago. Don’t think taking a temporary leave of absence is an option. I’m already falling behind on work as a result of these issues and dont think I can catch up and keep up. What should I do?
Joined EY 6months back as a tech consultant. My feedback so far has been great. What should I do to get the company sponsor my mba? I haven’t initiated the talk yet
Under-utilised since joining boutique three months ago. Not developing at all and periods of no work for me are common (even when I chase up). Other grad hires are in the same position. Time to worry?
