Over 40 in Advertising

I was late to the game, and didn't get into graphic design and advertising until my mid 30s. Now I'm over 40 and I feel stuck on the bottom rungs. Any tips?

Recently been approached about joining a startup agency. Never been in this situation before. Any advice on questions I should ask, red flags I should look for, etc.?

I m 48 and thinking about moving to a different city because I like the work of an agency I’ve been talking to much better than what I am doing now. Salary is not much higher. Am I crazy?

Really feel like I’m getting aged out (and as we know HR is not helpful). I don’t feel great about starting somewhere new. Is there a career for after 40? I mean are we all just f*d now? Life is over?

When did you start reducing your salary requirements in order to be competitive with younger, less expensive talent? Ideally never... but can’t help but think I’m too expensive for some opps.
