Arrived at a SPG property last week and had email confirmation and booking in the app but hotel didn’t have it - manager blamed merger IT issues, anybody else experienced this recently?

Best Marriott to Stay in Charleston for 3 nights? Platinum elite. Also looking for any and all recommendations for 4 days in Charleston. Birthday celebration for SO.

Planning to visit Bali on May 2020. I have a wife and 2 toddlers (4, 1) tagging along. TPG recommends the Le Meridien. Any other recommendations for family-friendly Marriott properties?

Hey all, deciding between two properties in Miami for this weekend - W Miami or the JW Marriott (not marquis). The W is about $325/night all-in while the JW is 40k pts/night. Which one is better?

I was platinum lifetime marriott... on the spg app, i now show gold lifetime. That should show Platinum lifetime right?

Almost 4 weeks in and my status is still wrong. It was correct for the first ~1 day and then bumped down a level. Shouldn’t be hard as all my nights last year were SPG. This is ridiculous.

What credit card to you recommend pairing well with chase sapphire preferred for maximizing redemption? Pretty new to points and def don’t know a lot! I’m considering one of the Marriott cards bc we love Marriott or an Amex one! Any ideas appreciated 🤗 TIA!!

I’ve worked for Marriott/Bonvoy at the Ritz and for the Curio Collection with Hilton as a bartender/server/banquets captain. 1099 or w-2 ? I have been given the option though the company prefers w-2. It’s a day rate booking couple of months or more (no end date). I already have 1099 from similar company this year and am leaning towards 1099, but I don’t want to be difficult. I do take home office deduction and they are not supplying any equipment. Any tips on how to improve lining thickness? My RE had me on Estrace for a week before starting Prometrium (vaginally) a few days ago, but my lining is only a little above 5mm. Looks likely that this FET cycle is going to get canceled (was potentially going to be this weekend) since the lining doesn’t seem to be thick enough.
