I'm a depressed 32 yrs old single with 8 YOE. Last drawn CTC was 5 LPA even after switching 5 companies.
When I see Ppl with 18LPA or 23LPA with 4 or 5 YOR, I really feel my gut wrench with sadness wishing I had that CTC.
I need to put up things right to rebuild my life all over again. What do I do?

I am trying to figure out how to switch to SWE. I have a masters in civil engineering and have a good background in higher level math. It looks like the better coding boot camps are quite expensive. The alternative is another masters in CS which is the same cost as many boot camps. Any recommendations on picking between a coding boot camp and getting another masters degree in CS? I’m looking to get into the best position possible after getting an education in CS (get a job quick and good pay).

Within my first year of Consulting, really struggling with the hours amongst other things. So I recently graduated in the fall semester from school, and I am now trying to find a entry-level full-time position in my field. I graduated with a BA in Cinema and Television Arts; specifically in Entertainment Media Management. I wasn’t able to do an internship because of work and personal stuff. Does anyone know any good tips of what entry level positions I should look into?

I feel like all of my friends who work in tech are very open about their starting salaries and the increases each year. I am going to work in public accounting and I feel like when I look up how much I will make after being promoted or early promoted it’s very cryptic. Can anyone tell me the standard salary % increase in PA after your first, second, third promotion?
