I’m having the hardest time finding a new job. I have 12 years of HR experience, a masters in HR, SHRM certification, and all I keep getting are rejection emails. I’ve never experienced this difficult of a time searching for new opportunities. Is this normal once you hit a certain level in your career or is it just me?

If you get an offer a few days before you have a final interview (or while you're waiting to hear back), is it okay to ask for some time? Or do they expect you to answer right there?

i'm in the final round for 2 different media positions in 2 completely different places (NYC and NC) and things are moving really quickly for both. the NYC job is my dream one but they're both offering $40k so i'm conflicted. any advice would be helpful lol

Wondering what people think about my situation. I’ve been offered a role with a company. The job description didn’t mention college degree as a requirement. On my CV I have a section listed as “Education” and under it I have “Business Studies” with the university name and the 3 years that I attended the course (2.5 to be exact). It’s a 4 year degree and under this I have my High School equivalent with the years I attended there. The education wasn’t mentioned in the interviews. Continued below.

a few years ago my company implemented a "2 pack" to my pay pay plan. Where they would deduct 200 per month to counteract minimum wage increase. Fast forward to now, it's 480 taken From commission.

We just won a project and in curious… I hear the vendor onboarding / setup is lengthy and “intense” but would love to know how long it takes and what do they need from you that makes it “intense?”

I realized I've been a dummy for getting a job at a creative agency and not working on my portfolio. Most of the projects I've taken on, I've done so as a way to support others without taking much credit for it. Now, a better opportunity came along and I don't have anything to show for my talent as a designer. ALWAYS take credit for what you do, even if it's not your project to begin with.

I’m a 7th year associate. I’ve practiced L&E my entire career in big law for large multi-national companies. I like my job, but I’m burned out. I have two kids under two and will, in all likelihood, go for gold and make it three under three to be done. I’m over traveling. I’m over traveling for trials. I’m over litigation in general. I want to switch sides of the v and open my own firm. I’m digging into how feasible this would be for me. Does anyone have any good resources? Books, podcasts, etc

How has the year been so far for you guys? I started fairly new and already know of 6 people who left the company. Don’t know if this is due to coincidence or sth with the company.

For partners with kids ~13 and up. How many sporting/music events do you find yourself missing? I’m making it work with weekend stuff, but I know as they get older more happens during the week.
