Are they using LE-WM currently? If they are and if it meets their wants, the Stock room management will work. Also, SRM works well if they have tight production integration, well established portfolio of RF transactions, and invested in WM enhancements.
If they are new to SAP, it’s easier to move to basic EWM because it has a good library of ready to use RF transactions as well as future compatibility to expand operations.
In that case Stock room management has less change impact, saving both production and warehouse users from learning new terminology associated with EWM.
Their warehousing needs are very simplistic and I am suggesting SRM but wanted to hear some “gotchas” that others may have run into.
