How skilled were you with Excel when you started, how strong are you with it now, and how long did it take you to feel comfortable?
Do you have a way of receiving anonymous feedback? We do “speak up live” but are thinking about an anonymous feedback form (google form?). we are a small company so not looking for software we need to pay for etc.
Does your SO truly understand what you do for a living? Haha mine pretty much sums it up as, "he does stuff on excel."
Hi- does anyone have a good partner review process? Three owners, private firm - trying to provide meaningful review process for them separate from our usual process. TIA!

I'm going back home to AZ for a cowboy wedding. Since ranchers typically lack knowledge of IB, I am wondering how everyone here explains their profession to uneducated people (financially speaking)
Anyone have any experience with TM Lewin shirts? Instagram is telling me they're on sale for 30 bucks
See it seems that Alexandria Ocasio Cortez is a phenomenon that is here to stay. One of the things she suggests is that "every billionaire is a policy failure." Discuss.
I feel burnt out. 3rd year in banking and am working after-hours on my startup. I feel like death, but I know my passion is keeping me going. Any tips on managing 11-12hr work day & 8pm-1am?
Seriously. At EY CLT. how do you get the coffee machines to make a legit, normal, espresso? Like a Starbucks doppio. the current machines when you choose espresso make a watery looking result.
My spouse and I both have approved I 140s. We understand the uncertainty around h4ead. Can one of us move to h4ead and transfer to h1b back if anything goes downhill? Anyone here who has done that?

I had a Zoom idea I’d love to see. Wouldn’t it be great to have the option to only allow your zoom class to see the host (teacher) and not everyone else? Lots of my middle schoolers don’t want the camera on because they are embarrassed and don’t everyone looking in their house. They honestly don’t need to be looking at everyone else.
Rolled off of a frustrating, less than ideal project today, and came home to find my fiancée had left me a homemade card, new tea mug, chocolate and one of my favorite movies (Cabin in the Woods) ❤️❤️

Any advice or anecdotes for an attorney looking to pursue an MBA? Currently work in a very niche area in finance and am worried specializing too quickly (I’m 1-2 years out) could be frowned upon. End goal is to ultimately be an entrepreneur of sorts (thinking small commercial real estate and investments) but don’t have strong enough business acumen to make the jump without the MBA.
For folks who are “early” promotes do you find you’re generally stuck at your current company or are you able to get the same exit ops as other folks at your level? For example: McKinsey EMs / BCG PLs 2 years into their role 4 years out from undergrad. Can you get the same exit ops as any other EMs with MBAs etc. or do you kind of just need to stay at your current company and exit at an even higher level?
Just got promoted to senior in DT (I’m in TP) usually year over year we get allocated slightly more comp % being in IT/TP than BTS or other larger groups. This year obviously not the case my PPMD explained there was no “merit based” corps and that could likely happen again next year.... the comp we got was honestly shockingly low (3%). Have a good friend just get promoted to senior in PWC TP .. got 20% and a 2.45% bonus ... anyone hear of this? Or believe this is true cause I am shocked
