Salary cut 20% first week the virus broke out, no bonuses this year, and it’s unlikely that we will get that 20% back. Good thing this was my first year and I earned all of 3 months of my salary. 😑

Good evening Everyone, I have been a PSR for 10 years with the same company, but worked for 5 different practices. Was looking to move up in our company but from what I’m understanding, we have to have a degree in management. How would I go about trying to move up in and out of my position without a degree?

Okay...here goes: I’m not sure if I just want to leave my firm or private practice altogether? For those of you who have contemplated leaving private practice, how did you finally come to realize that that was really what made sense for you, as opposed to just switching firms?

Another day passes without a job. To all those unhappy in your current positions of employment, imagine being among the long-term unemployed with no unemployment checks, no savings, and a job market where even getting a fast food job is nearly impossible due to COVID workplace restrictions faced by many places like mine. I am not sure who needs to hear this but exactly one year ago, I was at my lowest point in life. Today, I’m the happiest I’ve ever been. Life has truly been a rollercoaster these past few years for me.

I am sharing this to tell you that no matter what you’re feeling right now, it won’t last. Even the happiness I feel right now, I’ve had that stripped from me multiple times. That is LIFE. We have the good and the bad.

Hang in there if times are bad. If things are good, prepare to lose it too.

I have 1.5 YoE. It's been 5 months in ICICI bank as an analyst in Data science grp. My skill sets include SQL, python and ML. Prior to ICICI I was in a Supply Chain start up which was not fully analytics profile. Now, my CTC is 4.55 LPA but during interview the HR agreed on 5.5 lpa. So my question is am I under paid?

In salary breakup of Bosch apart from total CTC, another payable amount is mentioned under 'NPS optional- Company Contribution'. What does this optional means? And whether this NPS amount is on the top of the offered CTC or will they adjusted it with some other component mentioned under fixed salary?
