I’m having the hardest time finding a new job. I have 12 years of HR experience, a masters in HR, SHRM certification, and all I keep getting are rejection emails. I’ve never experienced this difficult of a time searching for new opportunities. Is this normal once you hit a certain level in your career or is it just me?

My manager got hired with 0 actual sales experience, comes from operations and marketing. It’s impossible to take any of his advice seriously, he ends team meetings and messages with “always be closing”. Like tf you know about closing, go back to making your PowerPoints.

I’m curious - let’s say you have a role to fill but they are targeting only female candidates to balance out the team. What recruiting strategies can i implement to meet those needs?

Does anyone need a hr coordinator, or entry level talent acquisitions coordinator that is 100 remote? Remote jobs are extremely competitive and when I find job posts on LinkedIn there are already over 100 applicants. Very competitive!I am open minded about salary,I have so much interest in expanding my skills. So someone I know asked HR about a boot policy. When he found out that there wasn’t one, but his boss said there was (who gave the guys $ for boots and the claimed it on his expense reimbursements as something else) the boss got mad at him for askingHR (and in trouble for the expense reimbursements) and then 2 days later laid off my friend. There appears to be no notice of bad performance and this person always was the first person on the job site ready to work. Thoughts?

Per SHRM, I was just curious if any HR Professionals completely removed the following fields: social security number, recommend salary, graduation dates, military discharge info, race, maiden name like (Ms. Mrs. Ms), & criminal history questions. Can you get fired for having low utilization as a senior? My billable hours this busy season have been much lower than my peers.

Am coming from the B2B tech advanced analytics space. Have also thought about consulting IC work, since it can be very people-forward. My goal is to make my daily people-first rather than code-first. Since I like corporate and helping folks and projects grow, analytics management seems ideal.
