This job doesn’t pay enough to compensate for the years & education wasted here. We’re smart enough to be pilots and medical professionals. Yet we’re tying numbers in a soon to be obsolete industry.

EY raises and PBB so far have been in line with past few years. So much for the “this time it’s different” hype. Time to jump ships and get additional 15-20% raise

California small firm attorneys - how is your firm handling the latest shutdown orders?

Everyone remote? Declaring yourselves “critical infrastructure”? Adhering to capacity limits but still meeting with clients?

(I should also add, I’m in estate planning & trust administration. Earlier CA orders specifically exempted legal practice re death and incapacity. Newest ones now seem silent.. Ugh, who knows anymore.)
