OP - not to poke holes in your argument, but few questions for you because this does make a difference:
1) any missed timesheets, variance reports, excessive balance carry over on AMEX, missed independence confirmations?
2) how did you log 10MM in sales? Were you listed as a team member or Senior Manager PL in InterAction for all these wins?
3) was your travel time logged to your BU's authorized charge code so you were credited for that additional time?
4) are you an experienced hire? If so, from where?
your counselor sounds like part of the problem if they pitched you at a 5 and were negotiated to a 3

OP, i'm sorry for your situation, it sucks!! To those who mentioned a lack of OTJ - this makes me so angry because for the most part it is such BS. People in my practice send mass emails to fill each other's otj. I never played these games as this doesn't get along with my work integrity. But the fact that people take those seriously during round tables drives me crazy. When a person has multiple otjs without any comments - that should be a red flag!!!
Got rounded down to a 4 from a 5 at a national level. I guess all "peer" groups are killing it this year but somehow not reflected in our bonuses. This shows that ratings, utilization alone and few other metrics tell you jack shit about your performance.

It would be helpful to ask what differentiated peers who were rated higher. Assuming there weren't negatives in your performance appraisals though and there weren't key things your peers were doing that you weren't, I would say bail and bail quickly as for whatever reason, you aren't valued and no one's going to bat for you.
So what was the feedback to explain the 3? Generic? Also, how much of this was due to your counselor?

What group are you in OP? Understand if you plead the 5th on answering that but it seems like peer groups are highly variable. And to ppl who say all about knowing partners if you are staff/senior it's not like they were the ones deciding your fate on round tables.
