$1700 deductible
$4000 out of pocket max
100% preventive covered
80% diagnostic covered AFTER deductible hit
80% prescription covered AFTER $200 deductible hit…
Thinking about having surgery for my knee and this seems costly

In the long run, probably doesn’t matter too much. I believe there is a ton of overlap between the S&P 500 and VTSAX, for example. Theoretically I guess you could say you’re more diversified with a total stock index since the S&P is market cap weighted to the top 500 stocks, which is why it’s been so tech heavy over the past few years. Long story long just pick the one with the lowest expense ratio and you’re good 👍

Total market is better. Higher diversification is better. Over a 20 year period, you'll see lower volatility. In fact best to diversify across international markets as well.
VTI (55%) and VXUS (45%). Provides the lowest volatility
VT. Definitely not VOO.
But with VT you don't get the foreign tax credit, which matters for large investment amounts
