Take it. It's a gift. You can catch up on life, update your resume, network internally and externally and recharge
I'd rather do something interesting 100 hours a week than doing something boring 9-5
Well keep in mind none of my other options are interesting lol, they'll just be client facing is all.
If you need a break from travel then do it and crush internal work as well
Sorry for you man, wish you best in life!
That sounds like a pretty good situation. It's just 16 weeks. And you don't know what you might learn.
Don't take an internal - creates perception you are lazy
agree with @EY2. Or as one person put it, "EY internal is where your career goes to die".
Absolutely wrong. @ey2
A internal rotation can actually help at year end. Shows flexibility and dedication to the firm - also a lot of those roles are leadership facing.
Lol parent threw me there.
But many years of review committee experience at all levels. I should say the "right" internal role can help. Some of them are more hassle than they're worth
I'd coast until my brain starts turning to mush and then look for something else. If you care about your performance then definitely look elsewhere.
May be a good opportunity to grow internal metwork
It's finite and gives you time at home to catch up on life. You'll have plenty of other travel projects
WE STAND ALONE TOGETHER
be happy you are chargeable
Guess you are not a parent EY6
Partner I mean
If a parent is volunteering you for an internal role then he doesn't value you as much as some one else - no partner nominates their strongest for an internal role. But hey, what do I know.
Take it and have a fun summer in your city #workingpoolside
EY2 you keep saying parent instead of partner.
