2 months ago I had been given a job offer. My response to the job offer was that although I appreciated the offer the base was less than current and I’m commissioned so the commission was also lower. However, it would be a 4 day work schedule not the 5 days I’m currently doing. I have not heard from the employer for any further negotiations. I took that to mean that was the end.

If I wanted to revisit the offer- knowing a hire has not been made to date- would it be appropriate?

Final round! Panel interview w an assignment to present some ideas on how to increase customers for 1 of 5 key audience segments.
I’m most familiar with 1 as it’s the audience I work with at current job. Not enough info/experience with other 2 segments. Remaining segments I know enough but not as confidently.

I work for a mortgage company and I service many commercial mortgages that are unique in structure which makes servicing more challenging. Since we are a smaller company we have to come up with solutions or work harder get things done. I would say I do some managerial work now and train new staff. How should I approach a salary increase? What’s the ball park of commercial mortgage loan service salary?

During my interview process I clearly stated my salary expectations of 95k-105k. They came back with an offer at 80k. It would be great for his career and they are giving the 15% jump in base he asked for, however they won’t share what the target bonus amount would be. It’s an executive director position, so I would assume it’s a decent target bonus, but without that in writing it could honestly be a gift basket at the end of the year. Clawback clause in current contract: been in role for over 2 yrs, it was an internal move that required relocation. Relocation was approved shortly after (over 2 yrs ago) but covid meant the actual move and start of my contract with new subsidiary was delayed, I was paid by the previous subsidiary meanwhile. I got small relocation package. Would internal move be subject to a buy-out/clawback clause if I leave now and if yes, is it time in role or time under new contract? Any experience? Thanks!
