My post seeking encouragement was hi-jacked by another consultant trying to find a job with a louder voice ha. How fitting.
Can’t say I understand asking for / willing to give referrals to strangers on fb. Isn’t the point of a referral that you know somebody and are personally vouching for them?
That wasn’t my intention with my post. I just feel dejected and was looking for advice. Somehow the post was turned into a referral request for people.

I am a bit surprised to hear PWC laying people off right before the holiday. They really couldn’t wait until the new year? That is really shocking to me... There should be a general rule to just not “let go” of employees until at least the second week of the new year.

Interesting you made it to final rounds, and then rejection. You must be doing something right. Did they provide specific feedback why you didn’t land after the final? Were they just more difficult cases, or experience discussions? Perhaps you were more nervous w/ the more senior interviewers.
