Mine is a 50/50 split. There’s usually trade off- so moving to a higher base with a 60/40 model is likely going to have lower OTE and/or lower earning ceiling and accelerators
That is true. It does help that we get paid commissions monthly to balance out the lower base
Mine is 40/60. I definitely wish it was higher. I should have negotiated for more when I had the chance. *sigh*
Sounds like mines! The only good things is that our comp plan has much higher income potential and we do get commissions monthly which is nice

No - I negotiated for a higher base when I started because it was a new startup and COL in the bay area is crazy.
40/60
I'm ~60/40. Generally, base pay scales with the size of your deals and length of your sales cycle.
Mine is also 40/60. Good this is that this is very felxible. We can get an increase in commission based on performance.
