Not happy to hear about this. It's a difficult situation, for sure. I'd suggest you document everything that happens, just so you can make a case for yourself should the need arise. Just be prepared for anything.

I'm so sorry this is happening. Like the previous comment said, make sure you document everything! This can also include past conversations if you think thats necessary. You can do this by strategically referencing those past conversations in emails, thus creating a record. I really hope it works out well

I am so sorry to hear that OP. That is not a good feeling and you are not wrong to feel the way that you do. I definitely would make them fire you because they want to make sure that you can't get unemployment. Definitely make sure you get that package.

I’m have a new theory about why juniors always feel like idiots and wanted to see if anyone else thinks this makes sense. Help,I started a new career n the events industry and I think I have to quit! The person I report to is so disorganized and there are no other managers in the office to direct day to day operations of our department.
